Takahashi Shimako Award
Ms. Shimako Takahashi has long understood and supported the activities of the OSAKA IN THE WORLD Executive Committee, but passed away in 2018, " Using my legacy to support the independence of the youth who will lead the next generation '' We will award the Takahashi Shimako Award to support human resources who will continue to play an active role from an international perspective this year.
The 2019 Takahashi Shimako Award winner is Marvin Cordero from the Philippines
He is from a minority ethnic group in the Philippines, and when he was young, he was not well educated and studied painting by himself.
Volunteer activities in the Philippines also contributed to the award.
